Blueface (real name Johnathan Michael Porter, also listed as Johnathan Jamall Porter) is an American rapper from Los Angeles, born January 20, 1997. He’s 29.
He blew up in 2018 after the video for “Respect My Cryppin’” went viral because of his off-beat, slightly behind-the-beat flow and distinctive voice. That led to a deal with Cash Money West (Birdman’s West Coast imprint). His biggest hit is “Thotiana” (2018–2019), which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 after remixes with Cardi B and YG.
